I am missing you all!
It is amazing to me how resiliant the human spirit is.
Here’s what I have been up to:
I have been exercising again….moving it–(my bod) on the treadmill! Stretching on my foam roller….it all feels SO good. I have been cooking food ahead of time to make sure we are all eating healthy through out the week. I have been setting up coffee dates with my friends and team. I have begun working my business again. My mom and I decided to do a devotional study together. (day 2 is tomorrow)
I am reminded in this new season that:
The human spirit is resiliant. Joy does come in the morning. Great is His faithfulness. Morning by morning, new mercies we see.
and I am thankful.
I miss hearing from you. What are you up to ?
“The human spirit is resiliant. Joy does come in the morning. Great is His faithfulness. Morning by morning, new mercies we see.” I love this, it’s really inspiring.
You’ve been on my heart, and it’s great to hear what you’ve been doing recently
For me, lots of writing, exercise too (love it), things with God, and meeting friends for coffee
Love your new site by the way, the heading picture is so peaceful and beautiful. Love and God bless.
Birgit~
Oh, it is so good hearing from you! What time is it there?
It is 12:50am, much past my bedtime, but typical for a Tuesday night!!
:–)
Storie
Hi, Storie! I’m really glad to hear that you’ve been getting your second wind. I’ve caught that, too. It’s good to get out and about and see the sunrise of a new day, isn’t it? (Even if you are staying up until 12:50am!)
Healing takes time. And time will take its course. But, as the Earth turns, always remember that a new day is filled with new mercies and new hopes and new mysteries…
…and it’s almost always less than 24 hours away!
And, hey, keep us posted on your devotional study, okay? I’d love to hear that.
Take care,
~Nor
Hi again, I think it was around 8:30am, I was having my morning coffee and catching up on your post
this list is inspiring! i love that you are doing that with your mom. and i really really need to get back into the gym.
what am i up to? working – but about to go part time. ready for a transition in my life. facing change and embracing it!
i hope you are well!
Hi Storie! So nice to see you again
I’m doing the same as you without the precooked meals or too much exercise, LOL
The human spirit is resilient isn’t it? Just when we think we can’t go on one more moment, or the trials and struggles can’t, Jesus is there renewing us.
Bless you today my friend.
Hola Ms. Storie,
I’m so glad to hear your voice and heart.
Did I hear coffee dates… oh I wish we could sit across the table and share a latte. WE would laugh and cry and totally worship the God we both serve..
Yes, the human spirit is resilient……
Especially, because WE HAVE AN ALMIGHTY GOD who simply
rocks.
Love you girl….
praying!!!
My Lord is revealing to me how important love and forgiveness are. It seems there are constant moments when I have opportunities to exercise love and forgiveness – toward myself and others. What would it be like to walk as Jesus walked in light of the fact that love is the most important thing we do? I don’t think that means I am an open soul for additional wounds to pierce my side. At many points in life I’ll visit my cave for reflection, the stone is rolled away and my resurrection will leave me better prepared for loving those hard to love individuals. There may possibly be some boundaries drawn in the cave, but Jesus talked about boundaries when He said we must not throw our pearls before the swine. That doesn’t mean I don’t forgive them or pray for them. Forgiveness and love is deeper than the attitude that says, “All will be well here on earth.” Love many times means I must symbolically flee from Potiphar’s wife. It means I will not put myself into a situation that leaves me vulnerable for giving into a temptation to “set” someone right. Being tempted isn’t wrong, but when I yield to that temptation I cross an entirely different line that separates me from the One who gave me life, and that is where true, authentic love and forgiveness happens – connection with the Father.
Hey, Storie. It’s good to hear from you, to know you’re having new mercies every morning.
