Sweet! Do me a favor Storie. Pray for me regarding my desire to learn to play the guitar. I just sold my guitar, but I needed the money for my cleaning business, and I can always buy another guitar. I kept all my books, so I'm good to go. It's been a dream on my heart for some time, but I also have some other priorities that need attention before that. The guitar keeps coming up though. Pray that God will empower me to think, dream and act clearly about this desire. And if it's not to be pray that He will reveal that to me as well. I realize it might also be a either way kind of thing. I don't want to be the next Steven Curtis Chapman. I just want to be able to play and sing around campfires, special teen functions (not even the teen praise band) and kid functions. If the talent is there, and I think it is if I apply myself then I want to lead kids and adults into the presence of God with worship. And I know life is worship. Everything I do from scrubbing a toilet to leading a small group discussion is worship, but if it's the Lord's will I'd like to be led to develop my talent in praising Him through playing and singing.
